Orchestral Training

A former professional bassoonist and orchestral player, Robert Houlihan is regularly invited to train students and youth orchestras in Ireland, the U.K. and Europe.  Robert is fluent in English and French and has good basics in the German and Hungarian languages.

"The things that distinguish this conductor are the attributes he has in addition to musical talent, fine baton technique, excellent ear, large repertoire, and wide experience: he has those rare qualities of personality, perspective, caring, and integrity that wears really well with orchestras long-term"

George Hurst

International Conductor, and Renowned Teacher (1926 - 2012)
